Knowledge is power. In controlling diabetes, sometimes all it takes to improve a person’s condition is information and small behavioral changes. In time, those changes combine to become good habits.
Comprehensive Diabetic Solutions (CDS) offers several classes to arm the person with diabetes with tools for change. Many class graduates are seeing results from their educational time.
“I have enjoyed the classes. The doctor is cutting back on my medications. I have had diabetes 12 years, but I learned so much new information in class and now my blood sugars are improving,” said a recent graduate.
Instructors say the A1C (an average blood sugar test over two months) consistently decreases in the vast majority of class participants at graduation.
“I think the staff is very patient and allows us to ask questions and comment freely,” said another graduate.
“I am very grateful for this course.”
There are five two-hour classes offered by CDS, covering a variety of diabetes-related topics. In addition, participants are welcomed to repeat any classes they wish after graduation. CDS will obtain an order from your physician. Classes are billed to your insurance and free transportation is available in the local Memphis area.
